Expression of the older version HERV-K and MITF in rhesus monkey tissues. Rhesus monkey (Macaca mulatta) tissues including the mammary gland (Mam. gland) and seminal vesicle (Sem. vesicle) were examined by RT-PCR for expression of the rhesus HERV-K-like elements and the MITF variants. Macaca (Mac) 18S rRNA was also analyzed for standardization of the RNA amounts.
