Western blot of seedling extracts from the
wild-type (WT) and GS-overexpressing (GS2, GS7, and GS10) transgenic
Indian mustard seedlings (digitized image). Equal amounts (10 μg) of
total protein were loaded onto each lane, separated on a 10% SDS-PAGE
gel, blotted, and treated with antiserum raised against purified
E. coli GS protein. Samples were pooled from 25
seedlings each and grown on one-half-strength Murashige and Skoog
medium. E. coli extract was included as a positive
control.
