(C) Compiled data showing the effect of 20% nat-CHS and and 20% ent-CHS on ethanol action. This concentration of nat-CHS introduces significant potentiation of BK activity by ethanol, whereas ent-CHS is without effect. (D) Compiled data showing the effect of 40% nat-CHS and and 40% ent-CHS on ethanol action. This higher nat-CHS concentration results in significant inhibition of channel gating by EtOH. Once again, ent-CHS is without effect.
