dFTNs in the MVN are exclusively glycinergic. A, YFP-16; B, GIN; C, GAD67-GFP; D, GAD65; E, GlyT2. Note that dFTNs could be identified in YFP-16 and GlyT2 lines, but not in other lines, indicating that dFTNs are glycinergic neurons.
