The potential of mean force (PMF) as a function of the distance between the centers of mass of the two monomers at pH values between 2 and 7. The change in the distance between the two monomers, ΔDcom, is defined as ΔDcom = Dcom − D0 where Dcom represents the distance between the centers of mass of the monomers and D0 is the reference value of Dcom taken from the PDB file (18.1Å).
