The parallel dimeric coiled-coil model contains two copies of the segment 1988–2003 and the antiparallel dimeric model contains the segments 1988–2008 and 2587–2567. Note that arginine 2000 can form an intrahelical salt bridge with glutamine 1993, which is disrupted by the p.Arg2000Trp mutation.
