Growth of P. aeruginosa PAK ∆bamA (pMMB-bamA) (A) and of P. aeruginosa PAK ∆lolB (pMMB-lolB) (B) in media containing various concentrations of IPTG. Growth of wild-type (WT) P. aeruginosa PAK containing the empty vector (pMMB67EH) either in the presence of 50 µM IPTG or without IPTG was also monitored. Immunoblots of cells grown in various concentrations of IPTG for 9 h and probed with antibodies against BamA (C) and LolB (D). Blots were also probed with antibodies against the σ⁷⁰ subunit of RNA polymerase.
