Superior–inferior differences in neuroretinal rim differential light absorption (DLA, arbitrary units) versus differences in corresponding visual field sensitivity (decibel scale) for all sectors where significant relationships were found. The plots include a diagrammatic representation of the neuroretinal rim sectors considered (shaded) for a right eye; the sectors are labeled on the axes as in Figure 3. The mean Spearman's rank correlation is shown (n = 1000 bootstrap samples of one eye per patient) and P values (n = 29).
