A semi-anthropomorphic thoracic phantom and three additional attenuation layers were used to represent the thoracic region of small, medium, large, and extra-large adults. Two syringes with an iodine concentration of 3.5 mg/ml and 7.0 mg/ml were placed in the water-filled cardiac regions of the phantoms. The dotted circle on each phantom represents the ROI where the background noise level was measured.
