Pharicin A induces mitotic arrest. (A) Jurkat and Raji cells treated with pharicin A, nocodazole (Noc), paclitaxel (Taxol) or vehicle for 24 h were collected onto slides by cytospin, stained with the antibody to phosphorylated histone H3 (p-H3S10). DNA was stained with DAPI. Fluorescence signals were detected using a Bio-Rad MRC-1024 laser scanning confocal microscope. All experiments were repeated at least for four times and similar results were obtained. Representative images were shown. (B) HeLa cells treated with pharicin A, nocodazole (Noc), paclitaxel (Taxol) or vehicle for 24 h were fixed and stained with the antibodies to p-H3S10 (Red) and α-tubulin (green). Representative images were shown.
