Virus was adsorbed to cells by spinoculation at 4°C. Cultures were warmed to 37°C and T-20 (completely inhibitory concentration) was added at the time points indicated. (A) Representative experiment showing levels of p24 measured in 4 day cultures following addition of T20. Each point was determined in triplicate. (B) Relative infection calculated as % p24 concentration relative to p24 concentration in 4 day cultures with no T-20. Levels of p24 in the absence of T-20 were determined in triplicate for each strain in each cell type in 4 separate experiments. Error bars are standard errors of means (n = 4).
