DDAC induces inflammation and fibroproliferation in the lungs. Mice were intratracheally instilled with 0.01% of DDAC or the vehicle control and were sacrificed on day 7, 13, or 20 after the treatment69. Lung tissue samples were subjected to histopathological examination.
