Sensitization of A549 cancer cells to mafosfamide toxicity with ALDH inhibitors. Human lung adenocarcinoma A549 cells were treated with ALDH inhibitors (Aldi-1 and Aldi-3 at 40 μm and Aldi-2 at 25 μm) in the presence or absence of 125 μm mafosfamide (MFM). Cell viability was determined using MTT assays. DMSO, which was used as a solvent for the inhibitors, was used for the control treatment (*, p < 0.0001 ∼ p < 0.0007; n = 8–16).
