Serum was collected at the time of necropsy after a 3hr fast and was analyzed for serum triglycerides and free fatty acids. Briefly, males had significantly higher serum triglycerides compared to novx-female and ovx-female+E; however, males had significantly lower serum free fatty acids compared to all other groups.
