Effect of combination of RXR agonist and PPARγ agonist on carrageenan-induced paw edema. Coadministration of pioglitazone (1 mg/kg) and NEt-3IP (1 mg/kg), which showed no inhibition each alone, suppressed carrageenan-induce paw edema compared with control group, pioglitazone (1 mg/kg) and NEt-3IP (1 mg/kg) treated group, respectively. The control group received 0.5% carboxymethylcellulose solution. Each column and vertical bar represents the means ± S.E.M.
