The HLA typing of donors for CD8⁺ T cells for generation of CD8⁺CD28⁻ suppressor cells, the priming B-_APC cells, the partially matched C-_APC cells (which shared identical HLA-A, -B, but not HLA-DR, with B-_APC), or the fully mismatched I-_APC cells (HLA-A, B and DR fully mismatched with B-_APC) are shown. Two additional sets of donors A, B, C, and I were used for repeating this experiment for a total of three independent times.
