Rats were injected with GdCl₃ (10 mg/kg) via the tail vein, at 48 hours post-injection, surgical trauma and hemorrhage for 90 min were performed and after resuscitation over 60 min and recovery in the cage for 60 min, liver tissues were harvested. (A). Liver protein extracts were subjected to Western Blot analysis with anti-PS473-Akt, PY972-IR, PY612-IRS1, and total-Akt antibodies.
