2d and PG11144 treatment changes the local level of acetylation of lysine 9 of histone 3 (H3K9Act, top panel), dimethylation of lysine 9 of histone 3 (H3K9me2, middle panel) and tri-methylation of lysine 27 of histone 3 (H3K27me3, bottom panel). MDA-MB-231 cells were treated with 2d or PG11144 for 24h. Local H3K9Act, H3K9me2 and H3K27me3 occupancies around the TSS were measured by CHIP-qPCR. mt1f and nupr1 were up-regulated by 2d and egr1 and cdh16 were up-regulated by PG11144. The results are the mean ± S.E. of three independent experiments performed in triplicate.
