A. HeLa cells were treated or not for 24 hours with 20 µM TAT, 20 or 40 µM TAT-RasGAP_317–326 (P), or 1 µg/ml actinomycin D (actD). Quantitative RT-PCR was then used to measure c-myc mRNA levels. B. Alternatively, the cells were lysed and 50 µg of protein extracts were analyzed by Western blotting using the indicated antibodies. Note that the Bim gene encodes three different forms of the protein, the expected migrations of which are indicated. Asterisks indicate non-specific bands.
