a

The competition ELISA was performed to analyze the epitope groups of the different MAbs. Eighteen MAbs were found to fall into four groups, with each group reacting with the same epitope or sterical overlapping epitopes on Mp1p. The experiment was repeated with similar results.

The purified rMp1p were used as the coating antigen and reacted with cell supernatants of hybridomas secreted anti-Mp1p MAbs. The absorbance was measured at 450 nm: +: OD450 = 1–1.5; ++: OD450 = 1.5–2; +++: OD450>2.
