1 µg of purified AltMV-MU virions and CP preparation were analysed in 8-20% SDS-PAGE. Lane M shows molecular weight markers (Fermentas). Gel was stained with Coomassie G-250. Western blot (WB): proteins were transferred to PVDF membrane and incubated with mouse AS to AltMV-MU virions (dilution 1:10000) and anti-mouse antibodies conjugated with horseradish peroxidase (Promega); the reaction was visualized by the ECL system (Amersham Biosciences).
