Highest-shell statistics and Δϕ. Statistics of the highest resolution shells of 94 data sets. Each line represents a series of five to seven data sets collected from the same crystal at increasing Δϕ. The statistics on the vertical axis are plotted against Δϕ divided by the minimal mosaicity of the corresponding series on the horizontal axis. In the right panels the statistical value for each data set is normalized against the best value from the same series. The statistics of each series improve for smaller Δϕ up to Δϕ ≃ 0.5σ_ϕ. For the different series, the scaling statistics are degraded to a varying extent for rotation widths finer than half the mosaicity.
