Kinetics of the EPS-induced secretion of cytokines. Mouse peritoneal macrophages (5 × 105 per well) were stimulated with exopolysaccharides (EPS) (30 μg/ml). The amounts of TNF-α (a), IL-6 (b), IL-12p40 (c) and IL-10 (d) in culture supernatants were estimated after 6, 24 or 48 h of incubation with EPS.
