Table presents results of initial screening to identify candidate variables potentially associated with our primary composite endpoint at 90 days after the index PE event. Variables with p-value < 0.25 were included in the multivariable regression models.
Recent = active or occurring within 3 months of diagnosis of VTE
Missing heart rate data, systolic BP data on 11, 10, patients respectively. Arterial blood gas was not performed or performed on oxygen in 213 patients. Missing values were imputed as normal in analyses.
