The combination of SFK and Jak inhibition resulted in increased cytotoxic effects in vivo. Mice bearing heterotransplanted oral squamous carcinoma were treated with vehicle alone, dasatinib alone, INCB16562 alone, or the two agents combined, and tumor size was measured on the indicated days (A). (B) TUNEL assay was performed with heterotransplanted tumor tissues, and TUNEL-positive nuclei were counted and calculated as the percentage of total nuclei. (C) Tumor tissues were stained for PCNA. Nuclear staining was classified as low, intermediate, or high grade.
