Quantification of p-coumaraldehyde, coniferaldehyde, sinapaldehyde, p-coumaric acid, sinapic acid, ferulic acid, and caffeic acid in pectinase-treated hypocotyls of cucumber. Cucumber hypocotyls were treated with pectinase, and the accumulation of major phenylpropanoid metabolites was monitored (μg g⁻¹ fresh weight [fr wt]). Pectinase-treated hypocotyls were collected at 24 and 48 h post treatment. Untreated hypocotyls were used for baseline measurements. Statistical significance was determined using two-way ANOVA followed by Bonferroni post tests, where ** P < 0.01 and *** P < 0.001. Numeric values are listed in Supplemental Table S1.
