Note that the unit is ng/g sediment and μg/g TOC. bGDGTs, branched glycerol dialkyl glycerol tetraethers. Core (C)-bGDGTs and polar (P)-bGDGTs are presented for two extraction methods: sonication and Bligh and Dyer (BD).

PR-Sedi., Pearl River-sediment, which is followed by station number (solid circle in Figure 1).

PR-sedi-4 stood out as an exceptional sample because of its much higher δ13C of TOC and was excluded in the calculation of average values of all parameters.
