The active hRAD51 nucleofilament dissociates IN-DNA complexes. Quantification of the released IN after treatment of the beads with wt hRAD51 and K133R and K133A mutants in the presence or absence of 100 μM ATP was performed by scanning the IN corresponding bands in the Western blot analyses reported in Fig. 4.
