(B) Comparison of A2-CD8β fusion, MHC-I, CD4, and CD28 down-modulation by nef alleles from the indicated groups of primate lentiviruses. A2-CD8β fusion modulation was measured in CEM cells, and down-modulation of the remaining receptors was measured in primary CD4⁺ T cells. Each symbol represents the average for three independent measurements, and similar results were obtained in SupT1 cells.
