(A) Differentiated HL-60 cells were infected with piliated, Opa-expressing strain FA1090 at an MOI of 10 and then treated with 1 μM STS (or DMSO as a control). Hypodiploid DNA content was then evaluated by flow cytometry, and the percentage of cells exhibiting hypodiploid DNA under each condition is indicated.
