Treatment with recombinant murine IL-22 (rmIL-22) protein ameliorates cerulein-induced acute pancreatitis in mice. Recombinant IL-22 protein was administrated to C57BL/6 mice two hours before the first of seven hourly cerulein. Mice were sacrificed one hour after the last cerulein injection. The ratio of pancreas weight to body weight and serum levels of amylase and lipase were measured (A).
