Treatment with adeno-IL-22 ameliorates chronic cerulein-induced pancreatitis in mice. C57BL6 mice received a set of seven injections of cerulein weekly for four weeks. Ad-vector or Ad-IL-22 was injected on the 3rd week. Mice were sacrificed one hour after the last cerulein injection. Serum levels of IL-22, amylase and lipase levels were measured (A).
