Blood vessels pattern by CD34 staining in control and OLP tissues. Blood vessels distributed regularly in control samples of non-smokers, with regular cross-sections, but with smaller diameter in smoking control samples (upper pictures). Elongated vessels irregularly distributed in OLP non-smokers; in OLP smokers numerous smalldiameter cross-sections of vessels (lower pictures). All presented samples derived from women.
