Influence of unlabeled polyamines in the assay medium on polyamine uptake by COS7 cells. Polyamine uptake assays were carried out as described under “Experimental Procedures,” using 2 μm of 14C-labeled putrescine (Put), spermidine (Spd), or spermine (Spm) in the absence or presence of 20 μm of unlabeled polyamines.
