Effects of phytocannabinoids on recovery from open channel inactivation
of Cav3 channels
Cells expressing recombinant Cav3 channels were voltage-clamped
at −86 mV, stepped to −26 mV for 70 ms (Cav3.1 and
Cav3.2) or 350 ms (Cav3.3) to inactivate the channels,
and then retested with steps to −26 mV at 20, 40, 80, 160, 320, 640,
1280, and 2560 ms after the end of the initial depolarization. Recovery curves
for Cav3.1 in the presence of THC and CBD are illustrated in
