Sequence counts are provided for each GPCR family at different stages in the receptor mining protocol. The S. mansoni count is shown after application of the TM-focused HMM and filtering of the predicted proteome (HMM), extensive manual curation (MC), homology-based searches against the nucleotide assembly (H) and a final round of manual curation (Final). This progression is similarly displayed for S. mediterranea, with additional stages for the shedding of redundant sequences using BLAT (R).
