Akt, Erk1/2, and p38 MAPK are highly activated in As-transformed HBECs, and stably reexpressing miR-200b abolishes Akt and Erk1/2 activation. (A) Akt, Erk1/2, and p38 MAPK are highly activated only in As-transformed p53^lowHBECs. (B) Stable reexpression of miR-200b abolishes Akt and Erk1/2 activation but has no effect on p38 MAPK activation in As-transformed p53^lowHBECs. Similar results were obtained in two additional experiments.
