Effects of wortmannin on TGF-β2-induced Smad7 mRNA expression. Quiescent cell were pretreated with or without wortmannin and incubated in the presence or absence of TGF-β2 (10 ng/ml) for 24 hours. The relative levels of mRNA were normalized against GAPDH from the same cDNA preparation.
