Fold expansion of total nucleated cells, CD34⁺ cells and CD34⁺CXCR4⁺ cells after 10 day culture of CB CD133⁺ cells on different substrates. EDA- and AEMA-modified PES nanofibre scaffolds with 50–80 nmol cm⁻² amine density were used for cell culture. Results were expressed as the mean ± s.d. (n = 4).
