Nucleotide sequences encoding the quinolone resistance-determining region of WT M. leprae and M. tuberculosis GyrA were aligned with the amino acid sequence at the corresponding positions indicated by the numbers. Altered amino acids and the corresponding nucleotide substitutions of M. leprae and M. tuberculosis are placed above and below WT sequences, respectively.
