Evolutionary conservation of Lig3. Predicted Lig3 homologs are found throughout many metazoan branches and also in organisms in other ancestral eukaryotic groups. It is absent from other eukaryotic groups, including most plants, as well as model organisms C. elegans and S. cerevisiae (in red).
