Absorption changes at 569 nm of the dark-adapted (open circles) and light-adapted (open squares) ASR after illumination at the isosbestic point of ASRAT and ASR13C (496 nm) at 277 K. Absorption changes were fitted by single exponentials (solid and broken lines), and the ratio of the initial slope (light-adapted ASR/dark-adapted ASR) was 0.40:1. By taking into accounts of the contents of ASRAT and ASR13C in each state, the ratio between ASR13C-to-ASRAT and ASRAT-to-ASR13C was determined to be 0.77 (± 0.04).
