Inhibition of filamin-A expression sensitizes C8161 melanoma cells to bleomycin and cisplatin treatments in xenograft mouse model. The C8161-con cells were transfected with a control shRNA vector, and the C8161-KD cells were transfected with specific filamin-A shRNA expressing vector. These cells were inoculate to nude mice and then treated with bleomycin and cisplatin (see text for details). Shown are the tumor volumes after the initial inoculation. Panel A shows the tumor response to bleomycin treatment, and panel B shows the tumor growth in response to cisplatin treatment. Error bars represent the standard errors from 5-7 mice.
