Comparison of registration accuracies between statistical atlas-based registration and the two single atlas-based registrations. Two publicly available mouse atlases, the MOBY phantom [48] and DIGIMOUSE atlas [49], are used for the comparison. The skin, skeleton, and lungs are evaluated based on non-contrast images, while other organs are evaluated based on contrast-enhanced images. (a) Comparison results of Dice coefficient.
