CGA increases the protective effect of PEP-1-rpS3 against hydrogen peroxide-induced cellular death. Cells were pretreated with CGA (100 ng/ml) for 1 h and then treated with PEP-1-rpS3 for additional 1 h. After induction of cellular toxicity by H₂O₂ (1 mM) for 4 h, cell viability was assessed using a MTT assay and is expressed as a percentage of a H₂O₂ untreated control. Statistical significance (^*p<0.05, ^**p<0.01), compared with H₂O₂-treated group.
