The dynamic water contact angles measured on TiO2 functionalized with (A) PMP1-20 and (B) PMP1-50 brushes of varying chain densities. The contact angles of TiO2 coated with a thin film of only the DOPA-Lys mussel-mimetic anchor segment are overlaid for comparison.
