Chromatography image (prepared on GF254 plate) is shown on the top right of the figures to indicate the caffeic and tannic acids in DM and EA extracts, under UV light and with no developer. Arrows indicate the phytochemicals, caffeic acid (green) and tannic acid (blue), in ethyl acetate extract. Note that dichloromethane extract shows a blue stain, suggestive of high tannin-content.
