(B) His tag pull-down assay and immunoprecipitaion. PfSir2A was pulled down from the whole parasite lysate (mixed stage) using His tag PfAlba3 as well as immunoprecipitated using anti-PfSir2A antibody. The samples were then subjected to SDS–PAGE analysis, followed by western blotting using anti-PfSir2A antibody. Lane 1; Immunoprecipitated PfSir2A using anti-PfSir2A antibody, lane 2; whole parasite lysate, lane 3; pull down material using His tag PfMIF, lane 4; pull down material using His tag PfAlba3. Purified His tag PfMIF used as a control in all the experiments.
