Synthesis scheme of 17864-ULS-lysozyme. The multitargeted kinase inhibitor 17864 was coupled to the ULS platinum linker (1). The carrier protein lysozyme was reacted with BOC-L-methionine N-hydroxysuccinimide to introduce thiol groups (2). Conjugation of 17864-ULS to methionine-modified lysozyme yielded the final renal-specific 17864-ULS-lysozyme conjugate (3).
