Weight of adipose tissues and muscle in adult and aged mice. Adult (6-mo- and 26-mo-old) mice were measured for changes in fat pad weight for visceral (epididymal) and subcutaneous (inguinal) depots (A), total fat weight via NMR (B), and total muscle weight via NMR (C).
